ServSafe is a food and beverage safety training and certificate program administered by the National Restaurant Association. The program is accredited by ANSI and the Conference for Food Protection.
Sanitation certification is required by most restaurants as a basic credential for their management staff. The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is nationally recognized. Earning Food Manager Certification tells the industry that you know food safety.
At the completion of class servsafe manager exam is administered. Exam contains 90 multiple choice question and 75% is passing grade. Time allowed is two hours.
Students can buy their own book (Srvsafe Food Manager Book 6th Edition) prior to the class from servsafe (http://www.servsafe.com/). Two to three weeks of study is recommended before taking servSafe food manager class. Book is not included in the class price!.
